Instructional materials reviewed and approved during the Instructional Material Review and Approval (IMRA) Cycle 2024 were available for classroom implementation in the 2025–26 school year. Instructional materials reviewed and approved during IMRA Cycle 2025 will be available for classroom implementation in the 2026–27 school year.

IMRA Cycle 2025
Instructional materials for the following subjects and grade bands were reviewed in IMRA Cycle 2025:
- K–6 full-subject, Tier one English language arts and reading (ELAR)
- K–6 full-subject, Tier one Spanish language arts and reading (SLAR)
- K–3 partial-subject, Tier one English and Spanish phonics
- K–12 full-subject, Tier one mathematics and supplemental mathematics

- IMRA Cycle 2025 Proclamation for Proposed Rejected Instructional Materials (PDF): The SBOE has issued a proclamation for instructional materials identified for proposed rejection during IMRA Cycle 2025. Publishers whose materials appear on the List of Proposed Rejected Instructional Materials must submit required revisions by January 6, 2026, to avoid placement on the official rejection list. This announcement outlines revision requirements, submission guidelines, and timelines for re-evaluation. Publishers who choose not to make revisions will be placed on the List of Rejected Instructional Materials. If revisions are submitted, the revised instructional materials will be reviewed in summer 2026 and considered for SBOE action in November 2026.
