Future IMRA Cycle | IMRA 2026
Instructional Materials Review and Approval (IMRA) Cycle 2026 will include a review of instructional materials for K–12 Fine Arts, 6–12 Career and Technical Education (CTE), K–12 Positive Character Traits (PCT), and K–5 Reading Language Arts (RLA) Supplemental, in addition to the previously reviewed subjects and grade levels. The following are drafts of quality rubrics that will be presented to the State Board of Education (SBOE) for approval in September 2025 for use in IMRA Cycle 2026:

Feedback
Parents, community members, educators, education service centers, and publishers are encouraged to provide feedback on the proposed rubrics. Feedback will be collected through focus groups and an online form.

Public Comment
Public comment for PCT and RLA Supplemental draft quality rubrics is available from June 24, 2025, to August 23, 2025. Feedback can be submitted online via the IMRA Quality Rubric Public Comment Form.
The public comment period for K–12 Fine Arts and 6–12 CTE draft quality rubrics was from April 8, 2025, to June 7, 2025.
