Future IMRA Cycles
Instructional Materials Review and Approval (IMRA) Cycle 2027 will include a review of instructional materials for K–12 Languages Other Than English (LOTE), additional courses in 6–12 Career and Technical Education (CTE), in addition to the previously reviewed subjects and grade levels from IMRA Cycles 2024, 2025, and 2026.

Rubrics
IMRA Cycle 2027 will include a review of instructional materials for K–12 LOTE. The following is the proposed quality rubric that will be presented to the SBOE for approval in September 2026 for use in IMRA Cycle 2027 and the slide deck that will be used during the discussion.

Additional items include a redline version comparing the proposed quality rubric with the initial draft presented to the SBOE in April 2026, with an explanation of revisions, and a memo of changes summarizing responses to stakeholder feedback collected from parents and community members, educators, publishers, and subject matter experts.
