Social Studies TEKS Review and Revision Process 2025 Cycle
The State Board of Education (SBOE) periodically reviews and revises the state K-12 curriculum standards, known as the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). The SBOE determines the year in which revised standards will be implemented in classrooms.
Under the current 2025 Cycle, the SBOE is reviewing and revising the Social Studies TEKS for all grades. Content Advisors are appointed by SBOE members for their academic and professional expertise to provide important feedback during the review and revision process.
Below is a list of the SBOE appointed Content Advisors for the 2025 Cycle to Review and Revise Social Studies TEKS. To learn more about each SBOE Content Advisor, select their name and access their individual profile page.
