Previous Cycle | IMRA 2024

Instructional Material Review and Approval (IMRA) 2024, the previous IMRA cycle, reviewed instructional materials for the following subjects and grade bands:

  • K–5 full-subject, tier-one English Language Arts and Reading (ELAR)
  • K–5 full-subject, tier-one Spanish Language Arts and Reading (SLAR)
  • K–3 partial-subject, tier-one K–3 English and Spanish phonics
  • K–12 full-subject, tier-one mathematics

  • Required Corrections (PDF): This document contains the errors publishers accepted from IMRA reviewers and the public, as well as the error corrections submitted by the publisher. 
  • Comprehensive Editorial Changes Report (PDF): This report contains the feedback publishers accepted from IMRA reviewers and the public, as well as the editorial changes submitted by the publisher. 
  • New Content (PDF): This document contains new content submitted by the publisher. 

In accordance with Texas Education Code (TEC), §31.023(c) the agency shall provide the results of the annual review of instructional materials and any related recommendations to the State Board of Education for approval or rejection of the instructional material and the inclusion of the instructional material on a list maintained by the State Board of Education under TEC, §31.022. The following report contains the commissioner's recommendations for IMRA Cycle 2024
